Fondation Abbé Pierre visits the project in Fojnica

October 17, 2010

Jacques Jafreddou, one of the FAP administrator, came in Bosnia in October and payed a visit to our project in Fojnica on the 14th of october. We mainly focused our tour on the “housing” component of the project: Obojak Communuity Guest House, the agro-tourism offer with the Tuka family guesthouse, an old house in Fojnica owned by a single woman; we also visited some socio-economic projects implemented by rural families such as a green house for growing vegetables and a beekeeper who specialized in queen bee production. We could exchanged a lot about the sustainability of our actions (promoting the Rural tourism offer and accompanying the families to build their capacity to welcome guests and sell their agri-products) and about the need to adopt an integral approach (housing together with economical support, trainings..) in order to help people in need.
